The Gentleman’s Guise to Cocktails // Hardie Grant Books
So pleased to finally get my hands on my very own copy, it’s such an honour to have been a part of this project.
For UK folk, you can pre-order it from Amazon here. For US folk you can pre-order it from Amazon as well here.
I’d also suggest you follow Hardie Grant Books on Tumblr for some amazing books!
Pick Me Up // Turntable
I was at this years Pick Me Up at Somerset House as part of my illustration agency YCN. I had three prints for sale, they can still be purchased through the YCN shop.
Global Convergence // CIMA Magazine
A while back I did something for CIMA Magazine, it’s about … the USA and the UK … converging …. read it online here!
The Gentleman’s Guide to Cocktails // Cover
Over the last billion months I’ve been slaving away on this project and can’t believe it’s now finally over, I now feel incredibly complacent and a little sad (actually, somewhat forlorn). There have been ups and downs, but I’ve enjoyed myself ten fold throughout the entire process and have learnt a truck load ready to take with me into my freelance career. The project was commissioned through the UK division of Hardie Grant Books and since then I’ve been working collaboratively with my good friend and ex-tutor Charlotte Heal who designed the whole book with help from freelance designer Sergio Garcia. Although I’m sad it’s over, I’m excited to see the printed thing! (There’s even talk of a launch night!)
YCN // Student Awards
During my internship at the YCN, they commissioned me to illustrate everything for their 2012 student awards. This is the poster they sent out to universities across England. Below is the poster in the flesh!
Google // Think Quarterly
My first ever real commission was for Google’s Think Quarterly which is a great piece of editorial lovely-ness, I was very humbled to be a part of it! Sadly they’re not physically available to the public and only a handful are ever printed, but have no fear! You can read it online here!
